I am a graduate of Kent State University located in Kent, Ohio. I graduated with Honors and hold a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Economics. I then pursued a legal career and attended the Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. After law school, I began my legal career as an Assistant Public Defender with the 20 th Judicial Circuit Public Defender's Office in Lee County, Florida. After leaving my employment position with the State of Florida in 2002, I joined a private criminal defense law firm in Fort Myers, Florida. I am admitted and licensed to practice law in all state courts throughout the State of Florida and the State of Ohio, the District of Columbia, the United States District Court for Middle District of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 11 th Circuit, in Atlanta, Georgia.
